Bestat – Goddess of Protection

In collaboration with graphic designer, Carolina Londono, we bring you our Goddess & Deities collection. Bestat, the cat-headed Egyptian goddess and warrior of the sun is also the goddess of protection from evil spirits and diseases. She was known for her healing ointments. Bestat also is the daughter of Aset/Isis (goddess of healing & magic) and Ra (Sun God). As with many deities in Egyptian religion, she also played a role in the afterlife as a guide and helper to the dead.
