Our Story
The Moon Et Tu is a Melbourne art studio inspired by the moon, the divine feminine, and a love for quiet magic. Each foil print is made and designed with care to bring a little wonder (and sparkle!) into your space. Wander through, and let something find you.
A Unique Process
Our Craft
Every piece begins as an idea rooted in meaning. Each illustration is designed in close collaboration with a local artist, chosen not just for their talent but for their ability to channel something deeper into the work. Symbols, archetypes, and the energy of the divine feminine guide every concept from the very beginning. From there, every print is individually hot foiled by hand, rolled, cooled, and peeled with care. Start to finish, made in our Naarm (Melbourne) studio.
How We Began...
Meet the Founder
The creative mind behind The Moon Et Tu. If you've crossed paths with us at a market, chances are you've met Jess, the woman who hand-foils every piece, chooses every artist, and pours intention into everything The Moon Et Tu creates.
She started this because she believed art should feel like magic. That a print on your wall should mean something. With a background in retail and a self-taught love of foiling, she built something from scratch that was entirely her own.
Thank you for being part of it.
Made With Intention
Sustainability
Every print is made to order. That means nothing sits in a warehouse, nothing gets discarded, and nothing is created without intention. It is a slower way of making things, and a more considered one. The card stock for every print is FSC-certified, sourced from responsibly managed forests where what is taken is replenished. Foil offcuts are repurposed into brand stickers and address labels, because waste is not part of the process here. Orders are packed in eco-friendly packaging, because the care taken inside the parcel should extend to what wraps it. We believe that small choices add up.
